6/27/03 – The Longest Day of Jon's Life

      About two weeks ago Jon invited Bill, Richard, and myself out for a fun filled day at Atwood lake. The day started off innocently enough with us doing laps around the lake. We eventually upped the ante and began to stand/sit outside the gate on the boat.  Little did we know that our day of fun would be abruptly brought to end by the state boat police.  The boat police waited until we crossed into the Carroll County end of the lake, (they don't fuck around in Carroll County) once there the boat police pounced on Jon's dad's helpless pontoon boat. 

     As soon as we were in their possession they told us to "hold on" and made us wait some agonizing 15 minutes. As we slowly drifted away from the boat police, Jon began to go mad, only calming down with false promises of 30 dollars. The "boaties" apparently let Jon off with only a 52 dollar fine.  He then began to yell at Jason and fun times were had by all.  Then to end the day we played several games of knockout where we were eventually all declared winners.

P.S. (Jon's least favorite part of knockout is being knocked out.)

6/7/03 – Gimps Are Really, Really, Lazy

Date: June 5, 2003

Place: The Mann Residence

Event: LAN Party for 14 Year Olds

Witness: Nick Malcolm, Nick's Site

     Jason Cox A.K.A Gimp attended a LAN at my house while I was working, he arrived quite late and had to setup his computer in the living room which is adjacent to the family room where all the other kids were.  This was not close enough for the idle Gimp, he wanted to be in the middle of the action.  So Ryan in collaboration with Jason came up with a brilliant idea to bring down our "big ass" kitchen table down to the party. 

     Several hours passed and the old man started to kick people out one by one.  Ryan then asked Jason "The Gimp" Cox if he could have some help bringing the table back upstairs so it may return back to its proper place.  After drinking about three of my Mountain Dews he flat out refused.  Then my mother pleaded with him to help out Ryan, eventually he caved in.  He and Ryan carried the table back up the stairs and then he stopped and slips out the front door, coming far short of the tables original destination.  Leaving my sick, beaten, amputee mother alone to struggle with the table until she finally managed to drag it back to the kitchen.

6/4/03 – Bills Back From Texas

Well Bill is back from Texas, to celebrate Bill decided to build the very first chameleon computer at my house (instead of playing ball like I wanted to), he then proceeded to scratch the hell out our coffee table with Bad Motor Finger's new computer.  Some good news came from the mess Ryan was promoted to Junior Chief Executive, and look for a Chameleon Computers/Reptile Respiratory Merger 1st quarter 2004.

5/16/03 – FACTOID! Driving Drunk Just Isn't Cool!!

Some drunk toolbag ran a red light and crashed into JON FUCKING COX!!!  That's right JON FUCKING COX, the star of every Self-Proclaimed film!!!  Jon being the amazing man he is apparently alright.  Nevertheless I am organizing an angry mob to go to that toolbag's house and burn it down in true Ohio State fashion, (and maybe kill his dog.) 4/1/03 - ANDY           

Today I got to see my best friend Andy Crum.  Usually my other friend Kevan hogs Andy all to himself.  We went to Kinko’s, Wal-Mart twice, Office Max twice, the exchange, Fuddruckers and two different pet shops.  I gave Andy 5 bucks because he is my #1 friend!!!

3/24/03 – O.M.D

You know its spring time when the first thing you think of in the morning is that lovable baller Old Man Dan.  God bless OMD, always keeping score and rallying his teammates while they feel unmotivated and dirty.  From shouts of “Come on now we can do this” to the earth shattering “Come on now we only need two more”.  True that the only real thing he can do is shoot, which recently hasn’t been all that well.  Also true that he is almost 60, is real damn ugly, and his breath smells like iguana shit.  Regardless I still love this man!!! In fact I have many found memories of him spawning all the way back to early grade school.  You should have seen him when he was in his 50’s when beating him was almost an accomplishment.  Now I don’t even pay attention and still I manage to humiliate OMD and the entire OMD family on the courts.  Even though he’s only 4-11” 230, he has a heart the size of a person several inches taller.  So when you see this American icon,  be sure to stand tall, look him in the eyes, try not to cry, and tell him you “got next”…

3/18/03 - Last Weekend

Last weekend Martina bought me some Penguins tickets so her and I drove to Pittsburgh.  Everything went exactly to plan, except for one tiny detail...The IRISH!!! Yes the Irish have foiled me once again, they were out in droves on Saturday reinforcing those old stereotypes, a few even managed to steal some Penguins tickets because I saw some at the game, but they were too busy fighting and throwing things onto the ice to even know who was playing.  Anyway the Flyers won the game, but the Penguins won my heart.

Those guys Relient K have done it again, but this time they even have our good friend Kevan Peden getting some licks in.  If you see any from the band or even Kevan please thank them for all they have done, for they are living the dream.

Bolivar man faces 3 charges

A Bolivar man in Tuscarawas County on multiple charges Monday after coming home intoxicated and starting a fight with his parents who then called 911.

Eric M Lindberg, 21, of 1023 Mill Cl. NE was charged with domestic, disorderly conduct by intoxication and trespassing.  Deputies located him at a neighbor's house where he had forcibly entered a doorway.  No one was hurt.

2/23/03 - Once bitten twice dead baby!!

How dare they!!!  How can anyone accuse the greatest rock and roll band of all time for 97 deaths!!!  The only thing Great White is guilty of is the crime of rocking to hard!  STAY WITH ME NOW!! Most of the people that died were just simply ""Rocked to Death".  In fact only a handful of people actually died from the fire and the deadly poison gases it emitted.  Plus the only reason the fire started because Ty Longley, the most wickedest guitar player to ever wield an axe, rocked so hard that a nearby pile of  hay burst into flames.  It was not the amazing pyrotechnics show has been done thousands of times and that has entertained millions of people now for decades as we were lead to believe.

2/13/03 - Where's that damn gimp?!?!

So for days now we have been planning to play basketball.  I tell Jason Cox a.k.a Gimp to be at Kevan's by 2:30 on Wednesday.  On Wednesday I go over to Kevan's after school expecting gimp to arrive very shortly.  Several hours pass and still no gimp, to pass the time we came up with the game Kevan Ball (played with two pairs of shoes and two golf balls).  So we finally call Bill to see if he knows where that damn gimp is, Bill tells us that gimp is home and at his computer.  It turns out gimp drove all the way to Canton from Atwood and didn't even get out of his car at Kevan's parking lot.  He waited like ten minutes and drove back home, because he didn't want to go the door because it was to cold to leave his car!!!!
